Sunbeams Program

Our team provides programs to engage, excite and extend children's thoughts, ideas and interests. We aim to ensure their enquiring minds and evolving skills and strengths are expanded through play based experiences.

Our educators plan and implement a range of experiences across varied learning areas including, literacy, mathematics, STEM, the arts as well as sustainability.  Children have the oppertunity to become effective communicators to strengthen their self identity, their wellbeing and to be active contributors to their world. We understand the importance of creating aesthetically inviting environments, designed to optomise learning opportunities for all children.We support children's learning through a diverse program and embrace a wide variety of learning areas that extend upon childrens interests and provide experiences to open new avenues for children to discover. 

Local communities are often innvited to enrich our programs to support childrens learning in specific areas through interactive demonstrations. Our experienced educators use intentional teaching strategies and critically reflect on their programs and practice to ensure that they are providing a high-quality educational program to all children, as children understand, care and take action for their environment. Children engage in everyday rituals including recycling and re-using materials. Sunbeams also utilises its own vegetable garden for the children to care for and learn about sustainability. We aim to embed these everyday rituals into our program as children learn to water the garden and value conservation and sustainability.

Our educators implement a care program to ensure all children feel a sense of belonging, enjoy being active in their own learning and become confident, creative and succesful learners.
